WATCH: Barbie second trailer promises colour bursting adventures

The second trailer of Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling has officially dropped, and it offered fans hints on the movie's plot along with colour bursting visuals.

Considering the teaser gave fans a quick glimpse of the Barbie's universe, the new trailer dives deeper into what can be expected.

The plot of the movie has yet to be determined with the biggest clue being that Barbie sets forth into the real world and that the movie consists of human characters in the cast.

According to Movie Insider, what is understood so far about the plot is that "a Barbie doll living in Barbieland is expelled from the world for not being perfect enough, too eccentric and not fitting the usual mold. She goes on an adventure in the real world and by the time she returns to Barbieland to save it, she has gained the realization that perfection comes on the inside, not the outside, and that the key to happiness is belief in oneself."

Greta Gerwig is helming the movie with Robbie and Gosling starring as Barbie and Ken.

Barbie is set to hit the theatres on July 21, 2023.
