Lewis Capaldi is not letting his health struggles bring him down.
The 30-year-old singer is set to release a documentary on Netflix, which will shed light on his life on and behind the scenes.
In a number of scenes obtained by The Daily Star, Capaldi seemed to be recalling his mental health struggles during his 2020 tour, as well as addressing his twitches due to Tourette’s syndrome.
“The twitches became out of control it was awful, absolutely horrific. I started to get in my head about it, you know these pressures about things,” he confessed. “Rather than just me singing my silly little songs other people are depending on me.”
The Before You Go singer noted that his twitch “gets worse when I sit down to play piano, physically painful.”
He continued: “And I get really short of breath and it's like my back [expletive] kills me when I go to do it.”
Capaldi also revealed that he has been suffering from Vertigo during his recent show.
The BRIT Award winner further detailed the intensity of his panic attacks, saying, “It feels like I'm going insane. Completely disconnected from reality.
“I can't breathe. I get dizzy. I'm sweating, my whole body starts convulsing. Either I feel like I'm going to be stuck with it forever or I'm going to die,” he added.
Capaldi’s upcoming music documentary titled, How I’m Feeling Now is set for release on the streaming platform on April 5.
