Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981 in Mississippi, United States to parents Jamie Spears and Lynn Spears. She is widely known as Queen of pop and started her career in late 90s as a child actor in the television series. Her first two studio albums were Baby One More Time in 1999 and Oops!... I Did It Again in 2000 which brought her meteoric rise to fame. Britney, in 2007, released a limited album Blackout after that she consumed into numerous family issues that lead to conservatorship. Since then, the singer rocked the chart with back-to-back hits, starting with Circus in 2008, Femme Fatale in 2011 which latter proved to be the most successful era of singles in the US charts.

She is among the best-selling musicians in the world with over 100 million records sold globally, including over 70 million in the US. She has six Billboard 200 number-one albums to her credit. In 2021, the singer was finally freed by court to end her conservatorship, 13 years later. She went on to marry Sam Asghari in an intimate wedding ceremony and made a comeback by releasing a duet with Sir Elton John, Hold Me Closer, which was a huge success.
