Sabrina Carpenter breaks silence on viral success of her song 'Espresso'

Sabrina Carpenter is loving the fact that her new track Espresso became a smash hit in no time!

In an interview with Rolling Stone, the All Of Me singer revealed all about her song.

“My mom has been like, ‘Do you feel crazy right now?” said Carpenter. . “I just love that people get my sense of humor."

The song was inspired by her trip to a creperie while she was in France, that resulted in Carpenter’s success.

"I decided to put that burden on other people,” she added.

Carpenter further went on elaborating about her collaboration with songwriters like Steph Jones and Amy Allen and Julian Bunetta. 

"That’s the only way those borderline idiotic-slash-funniest lyrics can happen. I’ve really honed in on the people that I love making music with,” the Looking At Me hitmaker expressed.

Following the mind-blowing acclaim of Espresso, which became the fort top fives on the Billboard Hot 100 and the number one in the UK, Australia and Ireland, Carpenter announced her very next collaboration Van Leeuwen for an Espresso flavoured icecream.

"Available starting JUNE 28th!!!!!" the Wildside performer wrote as she held the carton in her hand.
