Selena Gomez has sparked romance rumors with Zayn Malik after they were spotted out on a date together in New York City.

A TikTok user took to the video platform to share a text exchange with her friend, who claimed to have hosted the pair at an unnamed restaurant.

Apparently, she and the friend worked at the same celebrity favorite hotspot, as the friend wrote to her: "Tell me how Selena Gomez and Zayn just walked into [restaurant] hand in hand making out and I seated them."

The latest sighting comes weeks after the celebrities’ fan accounts noticed that Gomez had started following Malik back on Instagram.

While some fans suspected a music collaboration coming, most of them settled on having the pair linked together romantically.
