Chris Rock has done it, he replied.

Over a year after that contentious Will Smith Oscars incident, Chris Rock made fun of it in his most recent comedy spectacular.

The comedian's comedy show Chris Rock: Selective Outrage was broadcast live on Saturday night from Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre for the first time on Netflix.

During the performance, Rock, 58, brought up the incident when Smith, 54, struck him onstage at the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony on March 27 after he joked about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith's shaved head.

Early in the set, he stated, "Anyone who says words hurt has never been punched in the face," adding that he'll work hard not to "trigger" anyone.

Rock later joked about Snoop Dogg being in commercials and assured the crowd, "I love Snoop, I'm not dissing Snoop," before saying, "The last thing I need is another mad rapper, right?" as the audience cheered. "No, back to the show," he continued before talking briefly about Meghan Markle.

Chris Rock's response to Will Smith's Oscar slap

Rock spoke more extensively about the Oscars near the close of the broadcast, claiming he's "not a victim, baby; you'll never see me on Oprah or Gayle, crying. You will never see it. Never gonna happen." He said in jest that Suge Smith "smacked" him.

"I got smacked at the f—-ing Oscars by this m——f—-er. And people are like, 'Did it hurt?' It still hurts!" he said. He also emphasized Smith's larger physique in comparison to himself.

Rock continued by criticizing Smith for his "entanglement" issue with his wife Jada, which made headlines, and the Red Table Talk segment the two of them appeared on.

Rock also mentioned famous people, including Serena Williams, Elon Musk, the Kardashians, Blac Chyna, Beyoncé, Dave Chappelle, Doja Cat, and O.J. Simpson, throughout the extensive special.
