Rihanna to take part at the Oscars?

The 35-year- old pop star Rihanna will take the stage once again at the 95th Oscars Academy Awards which will air live on ABC on March 12.

Rihanna recently made her much-anticipated return on the stage after seven-long-years when she performed at the Super Bowl Halftime show.

For the very first time, the Diamonds singer gained a nomination for her hit song Lift Me Up from Ryan Coogler's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. This was the first song she recorded in six-years since her 206 album ANTI

As of now, per the media portal the mommy of one will be performing her Oscar-nominated song at the prestigious event and that too while she is pregnant again.

Apart from Rihanna, other nominees for the Best Original Song include David Byrne, Ryan Lott and Mitski.

What was Rihanna's Inspiration behind recording Life Me Up?

Rihanna did croon Lift Me Up but what actually convinced her to do so.

Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Ludwig Goransson, the composer of Lift Me Up shared her story about lending her vocals for the song.

"We had started to learn about the story and the kind of music they wanted to go for from much before."

He added, "We tried to figure out which artists could embody the music in the best possible way.''

Given that the Coogler directorial is about motherhood, it was Rihanna's name that actually came up.

He then continued, "Chances were slim considering Rihanna was expecting her first-born with ASAP Rocky."

However, after the birth of her baby boy she saw the movie's rough cut and post negotiations with Coogler, the singer finally got convinced into singing  the song.
