Jake Paul claims Tommy Fury is 'forced' to fight him: He has 'to pay bills'

Jake Paul is making some brave claims about his rival in the ring Tommy Fury ahead of their upcoming fight.

Fury is set to lock horns against the influencer in a much-anticipated boxing exhibition in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, after being previously pushing it back a couple of times.

Speaking to BT Sport Box Office, the Problem Child claimed that Fury’s partner and Love Island star Molly Mae is “tired” of being the only breadwinner of the family, especially since the birth of their daughter Bambi.

“Hopefully he shows up because he is frightened, he is fumbling the bag, I don't know whether he believes in himself. The money is just too good man,” he told the outlet.

Fury has withdrawn from confronting Paul in the ring twice, once in 2021 due to injury, and the second last year when he called off their Madison Square Garden bout after Fury was denied entry into the United States.

“He has kind of been forced into this by the fans, the media, his family and probably Molly,” Jake claimed, adding: “She is probably sitting there going, Yo I just had a baby, I can't be the one to pay the bills the entire time.”

Paul went on to explain that the pair is going to be paid a whopping $20,000 each, “minus taxes.”

“He can only pay for so many diapers. It's a hard business,” he mocked. “This is his biggest pay day and he is going to actually be able to support his family a little bit if he gets a good wealth manager and invests his money properly.”

Jake added: “Molly is probably like, yeah bro I'm tired of being the bread-winner of this relationship.”
