Lukas Cage and Chris Appleton are dating.

Chris Appleton, a celebrity hairstylist, and actor Lukas Gage were spotted together in a number of Instagram photos taken during a recent trip to Punta de Mita, Mexico's The St. Regis Punta Mita Resort.

Appleton, 39, and Gage, 27, made their romance official on Instagram after their tropical vacation, according to sources who spoke to the media outlet Just Jared.

The men appeared in a number of pictures riding a four-wheeler on a trail while both were wearing helmets, bandanas, and goggles for the outdoor adventure.

Gage, who gained notoriety after a director in a 2020 Zoom audition made fun of his apartment, captioned the photo in Spanish with "la mejor," which means "the finest," and included the resort in the post.

Appleton posted the identical images along with an other photo of the two of them having fun on the beach and gazing at the Pacific Ocean, with the hashtag #joyride.

Appleton's work has been featured in magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Vanity Fair. He has collaborated with well-known people like Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Ariana Grande.

The next movies starring Gage, who has also appeared on The White Lotus, are Down Low, Road House, and Parachute. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month, he made a comparison between handling his Hollywood profession and his romantic life.

'I do think everything works out the way it’s supposed to, but I wasn’t always able to see that,' he said. 'I’m getting better at it every year. The older I get, the more I realize I have no control over anything.

'It’s kind of like dating - when you’re seeking a partner you never find somebody. People can feel that you’re trying too hard.'

Gage said that 'the best thing to do in this industry is to build a full life outside of your work and have your work be just a part of that life,' adding, 'This is an accessory to my happiness, not the source of my happiness.'
