Leonardo DiCaprio is looking to “ditch” his image of dating women under the age of 25.
An insider told Daily Mail that the 48-year-old is having none of the ongoing jokes about his pattern of romancing partners way younger than him.
“Leo is very single right now and he is not keen on the hype suggesting that he is seeking out these very young women,” the source shared, adding the Titanic star is “looking for something more mature in the relationship department.”
DiCaprio recently made headlines for allegedly dating 19-year-old model Eden Polani after they were spotted sitting next to each other at a party last month.
At the time, sources vehemently denied any sort of romantic association between the pair, saying: “They were seated next to each other at a music-listening party. There were a number of people at that event.”
Speaking to the media outlet, the source laid bare the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor’s frustration of being linked with whoever he hangs out with.
“It is just ridiculous because he cannot go anywhere without being linked to the youngest beautiful woman there,” they said.
The insider continued: “He wants to ditch this image once and for all and he is really bothered that this continues to follow him.”
“Leo wants something like he had with Camila, something real,” they added.
DiCaprio first linked with model Camila Monroe in 2018. She was 20 at the time, while the actor was 43.
Back in July, it was confirmed that the pair had broken up, only a month after Camila had turned 25 – hence sparking jokes over DiCaprio’s uncanny pattern.
After his split from the model, DiCaprio was linked with Gigi Hadid, 27, before the pair ended their fling a couple of months later.
Since then, the actor has been seen out with model Victoria Lamas, 23, and Polani, 19.
