Spider-Man fans are in for a treat as another movie starring the Marvel superhero is in the works.
The studio’s CEO Kevin Feige spoke to Entertainment Weekly, while promoting the Marvel’s latest release Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and revealed that a new Spider-Man movie is in the works.
"All I will say is that we have the story. We have great ideas for it, and our screenwriters are just putting pen to paper now."
Producer Tom Rothman too confirmed that there will be a fourth installment to the franchise however, fans will have to wait for a few years before they can expect it to hit theatres.
"Of course. I don't know when to expect it, though. We shouldn't pour the wine before its time," he said.
As of yet there is no confirmation that the movie will unite the previous Spider-Man actors Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire however the latter two have expressed their desire to return to the universe together.
Tom has hinted at wanting to depart from the MCU however the veracity of the news has yet to be determined.
