Brad Pitt negates plans for retirement: I'm not getting out

Brad Pitt has cleared the air about his vague plans for retirement.

The 58-year-old had worried fans that his acting days might be foreseeing their end after he claimed to be in the “last semester” of his career in an interview with GQ magazine.

However, much to the fans’ exhilaration, the Fury star has scotched such talks. "I'm not getting out by any means,” he told AFP.

"It seems that might have been taken as a statement of retirement. That's not what I was saying," he continued.

"I'm over that hump of middle age and so I'm looking at that last leg... how do I want to spend that time? At my age, you've made enough mistakes... now there's a comfort in applying that kind of wisdom," the actor added.

Pitt recently traveled to Paris for the premiere of his Jackie Chan-inspired action caper Bullet Train, where he sported a linen skirt, sending fans into a swirl.
